We have quite a few shows booked for the New Year already. As well we continue writing songs in anticipation for a second album. Stayed tuned for that..

BA will be playing 2 shows in May in the hunt for cash prizes. Both Vibe and FUEL are giving away major money to the best bands they can find in Calgary.

Though we did not win the National Songwriting Competition, we are still in good spirits about being the regional winner at home in Calgary. CJAY 92 has us spinning in the feature rotation now and that's all we can ask of them.

Pete, Robin, and Warren played the acoustic version of Dead Ringer, along with the other 11 regional finalists playing their songs at the Gladstone Ballroom. We made some good contacts in Toronto, saw some great bands and celebrated the only way good Albertans know how to. By consuming large amounts of beer! Thanks to all who voted and continue to support us.

The Calgary Regional winners are now looking for your votes to help make them the National Champs!! We will be off to Toronto on March 6 - 9 to make some contacts and hopefully some long lasting impressions. You can vote for the band here: http://www.radiostar.ca/

We have been notified that we are the 2008 regional songwriting winners for CJAY 92. We will be heading to Toronto in March for Canadian Music week and to compete against the other regional winners for a chance at the $10 Grand and the National title.
